My cat got spayed 2 days ago. Was wondering if he sutures look good or not. She doesn’t seem bothered by them

It's wonderful to hear that your cat is comfortable and not bothered by her sutures following her spay surgery. It's crucial to keep an eye on the incision site to ensure everything is healing properly.
Firstly, watch for any redness and swelling. While some is normal, it shouldn't be excessive. If you notice it worsening, it could be a sign of concern. Additionally, a small amount of clear or slightly bloody discharge is typical, but if you see any pus or detect a foul odor, it's important to have it checked by your vet.
Also, be mindful if she starts licking or scratching at the sutures, as this can lead to irritation or infection. In such cases, an Elizabethan collar might be helpful to prevent her from disturbing the area.
Pay attention to her overall behavior as well. If she becomes lethargic, refuses to eat, or shows signs of pain, it's advisable to consult your veterinarian.
Since she seems comfortable and her sutures are intact, continue to monitor her closely. If you notice any concerning changes, don't hesitate to reach out to your veterinarian for guidance. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thank you!
