My dog is epilepsy and she’s jus started vomiting and now having diarrhea then vomiting it’s starting to concern me

It's completely understandable to be worried when your dog is experiencing both vomiting and diarrhea, especially given her history of epilepsy. These symptoms can arise from a variety of causes, such as dietary indiscretion, infections, or even stress. Given her condition, it's crucial to keep a close eye on her, as these symptoms might have an impact on her epilepsy.
In the meantime, it's important to ensure she remains hydrated, as vomiting and diarrhea can quickly lead to dehydration. Offer her small amounts of water frequently. It's advisable to withhold food for a few hours to allow her stomach to settle. After this period, you can try introducing a bland diet, like boiled chicken and rice, in small portions to see if she can tolerate it.
Should the symptoms persist beyond a day, worsen, or if you notice signs of lethargy or dehydration, such as dry gums or sunken eyes, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian. They can conduct a thorough examination and determine if any specific treatment is necessary, particularly considering her epilepsy.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
