I'm glad to hear that your pup's limp and swelling have improved over the past few days. It sounds like he might have had a minor injury that's healing on its own. To ensure he continues to recover well, there are a few steps you can take:

First, make sure he gets plenty of rest and avoids strenuous activities like running or jumping, as these could aggravate the injury. It's also important to monitor his leg for any signs of worsening, such as increased swelling, heat, or pain. If he starts limping again or if the swelling returns, it might be worth looking into further.

If there's still some mild swelling, you can apply a cold compress to the area for about 10-15 minutes a few times a day to help reduce it. Additionally, ensure he has a comfortable place to rest and try to keep him calm and relaxed.

Since he's a young pup, it's important to be cautious with any injuries. If you notice any signs of pain, reluctance to use the leg, or if the swelling doesn't completely go away, it would be a good idea to have him checked by a veterinarian to rule out any more serious issues.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
