It's wonderful to hear that you're attentive to Kelly and her kittens' needs. Creating a warm, comfortable, and quiet space for a mother cat and her kittens is crucial, especially after birth. You can definitely make a more cushioned and cozy area for her. Here are some steps you can take:

First, it's important to ensure the area is warm, as kittens cannot regulate their body temperature well. You can use a heating pad set on low, placed under a blanket or towel, to provide gentle warmth. Just make sure there's enough space for Kelly to move away from the heat if she gets too warm.

Next, consider using soft blankets or towels to create a cushioned environment. This will make it more comfortable for Kelly and her kittens.

It's also essential to choose a quiet, low-traffic area in your home where Kelly feels safe and undisturbed. This will help her relax and focus on caring for her kittens.

If you decide to move Kelly and her kittens, do so gently and calmly. Ensure she can see and smell her kittens during the move to reduce stress.

Lastly, keep an eye on Kelly's behavior. If she continues to seem disconnected or if any kittens appear weak or are not nursing, it may be helpful to encourage her gently or consult with a veterinarian for further advice.

It's important to give Kelly time to adjust, especially since she has experienced the loss of a kitten. With a comfortable and secure environment, she may feel more at ease and connected with her remaining kittens.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
