Just started noticing after 3 months of us getting another kitten all of a sudden, he can't stand him, and his legs look like they are balding.
It's on all 4 of his limbs . There are no red spots. No sores. He also has gotten rly clingy with me lately which is unlike him. Should I be concerned?

It sounds like your cat is experiencing some stress-related behaviors, likely due to the introduction of the new kitten. The aggression and excessive grooming, which is causing balding on the limbs, can indeed be signs of anxiety or stress. Here are a few steps you might consider:

Firstly, it's important to provide your cat with safe spaces where he can retreat and feel secure away from the new kitten. This can significantly help in reducing his stress levels. If you haven't already done so, try reintroducing the cats gradually. Techniques such as scent swapping and supervised interactions can be effective in helping them get accustomed to each other.

Engaging your cat in interactive play can also be beneficial. Redirecting his energy through toys, puzzle feeders, and climbing structures can help alleviate stress. Additionally, you might want to consider using calming aids like pheromone diffusers or sprays that are specifically designed to reduce stress in cats.

Keep a close watch on the grooming behavior. If it worsens or you notice any skin irritation, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian. Lastly, spending quality time with your cat, offering attention and affection, can reassure him and strengthen your bond.

If these behaviors persist or worsen, consulting a veterinarian or a pet behaviorist could provide further guidance. Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you.
