Behavior

Head a bit droopy not his usual perky self. Just got off a round of steroids a couple of weeks ago. Whining alot. Acting uncomfortable.
Can your dog get the flu from humans. We've been sick at our house. I'm freaking out. What should I do?

Hello, first of all, I'm sorry for the late reply. Why did your dog take steroids before? In general, people's flu virus is not transmitted to dogs. You don't have to worry too much about this. However, your dog's bowing(head down) and moving slowly can be caused by back pain. Your dog's symptoms may be caused by IVDD. It could be caused by waist pain.
Press down on your dog's waist with your finger under moderate pressure. If your dog trembles and feels pain when it presses against the waist, this may be a phenomenon caused by disk herniation. In this case, you may need to visit the animal hospital for x-ray and mri tests.
If your dog has a disc, depending on its degree, it can only be treated with medication or surgery. So I recommend you visit an animal hospital for consultation if possible.
