Thank you for connecting with Dr. Tail. Bleeding from a penis can be from a cut on the penis or the prepuce. It can be from a tumor on the penis but your puppy is to young to have a tumor.

If the cut is small, bleeding should stop within 10 min in a healthy dog with normal blood clotting functions. You can put him in a small room like a laundry room for resting. If his bleeding does not stop then take him to a vet for further evaluation.

Your vet will evaluate the penis and prepuce and may treat the cut and give him some medication to prevent secondary infection. Please visit Dr. Tail again if you have further questions. Thank you.
