Thank you for using our service. Foreign objects do sometimes come out with the feces within 48 hours. However, we cannot guarantee the same scenario. You should consider visiting the vet immediately as time is critical in the treatment of foreign object ingestion. The foreign object often disrupts the blood supply to normal organs and tissues, causing irreparable damage. Also, depending on the type and size of the object, a rupture in the digestive system is possible as well. (You can use Hydrogen Peroxide to induce vomiting.)

Although the choice to visit the ER or not is entirely your choice but we strongly advise you to make immediate access to a vet if you see any strange behaviors or if you don’t see a object in the feces within the next 48 hours. Also, please note that 48 hours is a general rule and circumstances can change anytime. I’m sorry but I just can’t give you an exact answer without any first-hand experience with the patient.

If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to come back to us! Thank you.
