Hello, first of all, I'm sorry for the late reply. It is difficult to answer correctly because there is no video of your dog's dry-heaving cough.
Your dog's dry-heaving cough can be caused by a variety of causes, including heartworm infection, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchial stenosis, and cardiac hypertrophy. An accurate diagnosis from an animal hospital is necessary to identify these diseases.

The first emergency measure you can take at home is to keep the humidity high. If you have a nebulizer, apply it with sterile physiological saline. If you don't have a nebulizer, leaving your dog in a hot steam-filled shower booth for 5–10 minutes can also work. Using a product called Aerodog may also work, but this may require consultation from a veterinarian.

If it's a problem with your dog's bronchial tubes, your usual supplements can also work. A product called Elm bark will be helpful.

But all of these are supplements that can be used when the cause is not determined. It is recommended that you go to the animal hospital first to find out the exact cause.
