Q. Dog ate cat food, has diarrhea, and is vomiting

My dog has been vomiting and has diarrhea he was looking very weak also he had blood in his stool he did get into some cat food a couple times could this be the cause of his diarrhea

If your dog ate cat’s food only several times, it does likely not cause any problems. However, if your dog frequently eats cat food, it may cause gastrointestinal upset or nutrition imbalance. I feel it is not due to eating cat food but is more likely caused by another reason. Vomiting and diarrhea with blood should be treated by a vet. So please consider visiting a vet if your dog has been vomiting and diarrhea for more than a day. Thank you.
