She has been exposed to paint fumes for the past few weeks. Spray paint for the first few and 3 days ago I started painting my dressers with regular paint and I noticed every time I did her behavior was different. She won't get up, her breathing is shallow and her eyes just pace the room

Exposure to paint fumes can indeed be quite harmful to pets, as they are particularly sensitive to the chemicals found in paints, especially spray paints and other volatile substances. The symptoms you're describing, such as reluctance to get up, shaking, shallow breathing, and unusual eye movement, are concerning and may indicate that your dog is experiencing toxic effects from the paint fumes.
It's important to act quickly by removing her from the environment where the paint fumes are present. Make sure she has access to fresh air by ventilating the area well or taking her outside. Additionally, offering her water can help flush out any toxins she may have inhaled.
Given the severity of her symptoms and the potential for toxic exposure, I strongly recommend seeking immediate veterinary attention. A veterinarian can assess her condition and provide necessary treatments, such as oxygen therapy or medications to counteract the effects of the toxins.
In the future, it's best to keep pets away from areas where painting is taking place and ensure proper ventilation to minimize their exposure to harmful fumes.
