Kiwi has ear mites currently and I also think kiwi has fur mites

It sounds like Kiwi might be experiencing some discomfort due to skin issues, which could be caused by mites. Ear mites are quite common in rabbits and often lead to excessive itching, particularly around the ears and head. On the other hand, fur mites can cause symptoms such as hair loss, flaky skin, and itching across different parts of the body.
For ear mites, you can gently clean Kiwi's ears using a cotton ball dampened with a rabbit-safe ear cleaner. It's important to avoid using cotton swabs, as they can inadvertently push debris further into the ear canal. When dealing with fur mites, maintaining a clean environment is key. Regularly wash Kiwi's bedding and clean the living area to help reduce mite infestations.
While there are over-the-counter treatments available for mites, it's essential to ensure they are specifically safe for rabbits. Some treatments designed for other animals can be toxic to them. Given that Kiwi's symptoms have persisted for a couple of weeks, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian. They can provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan that is both safe and effective.
In the meantime, keep an eye on Kiwi for any changes in behavior or worsening of symptoms. If you observe any signs of distress or if the condition deteriorates, please seek veterinary care promptly.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you.
