She was alright until all of a sudden her eyes and face started swelling I gave her a Benadryl and some of the swelling has went down but it is still there and it’s honestly nerve wracking because I’m not for sure what it is and I don’t have money to send her to the vet and it upsets me

I'm sorry to hear about your dog's condition. Swelling around the eyes and face can often be due to an allergic reaction, possibly from an insect bite or something she came into contact with. Benadryl can help reduce swelling, but it's important to ensure the dosage is appropriate for her size and weight.

Since she's also experiencing vomiting and itching, it could indicate a more significant allergic reaction or another underlying issue. Here are a few things you can do at home:

First, it's important to monitor her condition closely. Keep an eye on her swelling, vomiting, and itching. If these symptoms worsen or if she shows signs of difficulty breathing, it would be crucial to seek veterinary care immediately.

Next, ensure she is comfortable and has a quiet place to rest. Limiting her activity can help prevent further stress.

Additionally, make sure she stays hydrated, especially if she's been vomiting. Offer her small amounts of water frequently to keep her hydrated.

Lastly, try to identify and remove any potential allergens from her environment, such as new foods, plants, or cleaning products.

If her symptoms persist or worsen, it would be important to find a way to consult with a veterinarian, even if it's just a phone consultation, to ensure she receives the care she needs.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
