Yesterday night she had two episodes in less then 5 min where each episode lasted under one min. Her body completely stiffens up and she tucks her head and can’t move following with a little drooling. We rescued her about a month ago and this has never happened before.

The freezing episodes you're describing, where your dog's body stiffens and she tucks her head with some drooling, could potentially indicate a few different issues. One possibility is that these episodes are related to seizures, which can sometimes present as brief, sudden episodes of muscle stiffness and drooling. Alternatively, these episodes might be linked to anxiety or stress, particularly since you've recently introduced a new pet into your home.

Given that these episodes are brief and have only occurred twice, it's crucial to monitor your dog closely for any additional episodes or changes in behavior. Keeping a detailed record of when these episodes occur, their duration, and any potential triggers you observe can be incredibly helpful if you need to consult a veterinarian.

In the meantime, it's important to ensure your dog has a calm and safe environment. Try to minimize stress and pay attention to any specific triggers, such as loud noises or interactions with the new pet, that might be contributing to these episodes. If the episodes become more frequent, last longer, or if you notice other concerning symptoms like changes in appetite, lethargy, or coordination issues, it would be wise to seek veterinary care to rule out any underlying health problems.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
