I’m not to sure. She threw up what seemed to look like a sock or something of that nature. It was like a pinkish color

It sounds like your dog may have ingested a foreign object, which can sometimes lead to vomiting as her body attempts to expel it. The fact that she vomited up something resembling a sock is a positive sign that her body is trying to clear it out. However, it's crucial to keep a close eye on her for any signs of distress or ongoing issues.
At home, there are a few things you can do to ensure her well-being:
Firstly, monitor her behavior closely. Watch for any signs of discomfort, such as lethargy, continued vomiting, or signs of pain. These could indicate that there might still be something causing a blockage or irritation.
Secondly, keep an eye on her for further vomiting. If she continues to vomit, especially if it's bloody or black, this could be a sign of a more serious issue, such as a gastrointestinal blockage or internal bleeding.
Additionally, observe her eating and drinking habits. Ensure she is eating and drinking normally. If she refuses food or water, it could be a sign that she's still not feeling well.
Lastly, check her stool for any signs of blood or unusual colors, which could indicate internal issues.
Since the vomiting was episodic and triggered by the ingestion of the foreign object, and given that it has stopped, it might be a one-time incident. However, if any concerning symptoms persist or if she seems unwell, it would be wise to consult with a veterinarian to ensure there are no remaining issues.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
