he has one spot on his stomach and i know it’s ringworm bc my friends house that i went to apparently they had it without letting me know i have been treating it since the spot showed up so for 5 days now and its getting better does this mean i caught it early or is it still spreading??

It sounds like you're doing a great job managing the situation. Ringworm is indeed a common fungal infection that can lead to hair loss, scabbing, and itching, just as you've described. It's encouraging to hear that you've been treating it with an antifungal cream and have noticed improvement. This suggests that you caught it early and the treatment is working effectively.
It's important to continue the treatment as prescribed, even if the affected area appears to be improving, to ensure the infection is fully cleared. Since ringworm can be contagious, maintaining good hygiene is crucial. Be sure to wash your hands after handling your dog and clean any surfaces or bedding your dog has been in contact with to prevent spreading the infection to other pets or humans.
Keep an eye on the spot for any changes or the appearance of new spots. If you notice any worsening or new spots developing, it would be wise to consult with a veterinarian for further evaluation and possibly a different treatment approach.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
