just curious. One fonournpillows was torn up. I think it was my brother not ym dog. But if it was and she ate some got he fluff from inside the pillow. Would this likely pass?? I’m concerned but she’s been fine. Plus I never saw her physically eat it so idk
I completely understand your concern about your puppy possibly ingesting pillow stuffing. If she did eat some, it might pass through her digestive system without causing any issues, especially if she's not showing any signs of distress. However, it's crucial to keep a close eye on her for any symptoms of discomfort or obstruction. Watch for signs such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or lethargy.
Should she exhibit any of these symptoms, it could suggest that the stuffing is causing a blockage, and it's important to seek veterinary care immediately. In the meantime, make sure she has access to plenty of fresh water and monitor her stool to see if any of the stuffing passes through.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
Since I didn’t see her get it do you think she probably didn’t? And she would vomit several times with an obstruction and not have a bowel movement correct?
It's quite possible that your puppy didn't actually ingest any stuffing, especially if you didn't witness her doing so and she's acting normally.
If she had swallowed a significant amount of stuffing, leading to an obstruction, you would likely observe symptoms such as repeated vomiting, particularly after eating or drinking, and a lack of bowel movements. Other signs might include abdominal pain, bloating, and lethargy.
She seems to have experienced several concerns and incidents related to eating recently.
Given her curious nature, it seems important to pay close attention and monitor her carefully. Of course, I understand how challenging this can be and truly appreciate your dedication. I sincerely hope she remains healthy and well.
