Vomiting blood in dogs is indeed a serious concern, particularly if it occurs multiple times a day. Given that your dog quickly consumed hot food, it's possible that this may have irritated or even burned the esophagus or stomach lining, leading to the bloody vomit. However, there are other potential causes to consider, such as gastrointestinal ulcers, foreign objects, or more serious conditions.
Since your dog is experiencing repeated episodes of vomiting blood, I strongly advise taking him to a veterinarian as soon as possible. This situation warrants a professional evaluation to determine the underlying cause and to provide the appropriate treatment. The veterinarian will likely conduct a physical examination and may recommend diagnostic tests to gain a clearer understanding of the issue.
In the meantime, it's best to refrain from giving your dog any more food or water until you receive veterinary guidance, as this could potentially exacerbate the irritation. Keep your dog calm and comfortable, and be vigilant for any additional symptoms such as lethargy or changes in behavior.
Acting promptly in this situation is crucial to ensure your dog's health and well-being. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
