Since about Sunday (1/21/25) Ivy has been throwing up, we are not sure why we got a new container of cat food to which he had been eating so we threw it out but he has continued to vomit white foam and it’s Tuesday morning! I’m very concerned our vet is very rude and I don’t know what to do

I'm sorry to hear that Ivy is experiencing difficulties. When cats vomit white foam, it can be due to several reasons, such as dietary changes, hairballs, or gastrointestinal irritation. Since you've already tried changing her food and the vomiting continues, there are a few steps you can take at home to help her.

Firstly, make sure Ivy always has access to fresh water to prevent dehydration. You might also consider offering her small, bland meals like boiled chicken or a bit of plain rice, as these can sometimes help settle her stomach. It's best to avoid giving her any treats or rich foods during this period.

Keep a close eye on Ivy for any additional symptoms, such as lethargy, diarrhea, or changes in behavior, as these could indicate a more serious issue. Given that the vomiting has persisted for a couple of days, if it doesn't improve or if you notice any other concerning symptoms, it would be wise to seek veterinary care. If necessary, consider finding a different vet who can provide the care Ivy needs.

If you have any further questions or need more assistance, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
