Hello, I looked over the question you sent.
This is not a case that requires a visit to a vet clinic or the ER. However, you need to keep a close eye on it.
Your cat is suspected of having a cold, allergy, etc. It is caused by infection with the feline herpesvirus, feline calicivirus, or mycoplasma. (An accurate diagnosis requires additional tests, and it is impossible to diagnose based on symptoms alone.)
Cold symptoms are usually relieved as the cat regains its health and immunity.
OTC treatments such as honey water, echinacea, a humidifier, and plenty of rest will help relieve your cat's cough symptoms.
If the symptoms of a cold get worse (wet cough, extreme sneezing, purulent yellow runny nose, eye discharge, etc.), your cat's condition is getting worse. In this case, take your cat to the vet.
Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions you may have. Thank you.
