If the bump is growing in size, color, or texture, an immediate evaluation by the vet is usually recommended due to the chances of malignancies. When you palpate the bump, is it soft like liquid or hard like a mass? Although a confirmative diagnosis can only be made at the clinic, your vet may choose between laser, surgical removal, or drainage for treatments in general. In certain cases, a non-surgical method such as medications can resolve the issue. Please make an appointment with a vet for a differential diagnosis.
