Thank you for using our service. This is a medical emergency that requires immediate veterinary attention.
Bloody stool can be caused by hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, gastric ulcer, bacterial infection, tumor, toxin poisoning, liver disease, etc. It is necessary to determine the exact cause through examination and to treat it accordingly.
It can be difficult to determine what is causing her blood. If standard diagnostic techniques fail to identify the etiology of the problem, more intrusive diagnostic tests may be required.
A bland diet consists of soft, mildly flavored foods that are low in fiber. Avoid spicy, fried, or raw foods if she is on a bland diet.
If her bloody stool was only once, watch her for 2-3 days.
Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions you may have. Thank you.
